Malang, one of the cleanest and coolest cities in East Java has, without any doubt, been famous since a long time ago. Historical remnants are scattered around Malang Regency showing that it has played important role in many eras. Malang Regency his between 112° 17′ 10,90″ and 112° 57′ 00,00″ east longitude and extending from 7° 44′ 55 11 up to 8° 26′ 35.45″ south latitude.
Boundary: The Regency borders on Blitar and Kediri Regencies in the West, Jombang, Mojokerto and Pasuruan in the North, Probolinggo and Lumajang Regencies in the East and Indonesian Ocean in the South.
Malang Regency has 7 Districts, 1 Administrative Town, 35 Sub Districts, 16 Ward Administrative Units and 390 Urban Villages.
Malang, which is noted as one of the most fascinating towns in East Java, lies 90 kms away to the south from Surabaya, the capital city of the province. It is really a nice place to stay. Malang has now become the educational, industrial, cultural as well as tourist centre.
A large number of schools, ranging from elementary and secondary schools to universities, indicate the town as an outstanding centre of education.
Thousands of students from all over East Java and even those from other provinces flock to the town to study either in private or public schools.

As a centre of tourism, Malang has a lot of places of interest which are classified into local, regional, national and international standards, including traditional dance performances such as Tari Topeng (Mask dance), Jaran Pegon, Tari Beskalan (Beskalan Dance), etc.
Malang is known with its beautiful beaches. There are many tourists who always visit Malang’s beaches in holiday. The beaches are Ngliyep beach, Balekambang beach, and Sendang Biru beach.
Then the foreign tourists are commonly interesting to Malang’s temples that save the historical value of the past Kingdom in Malang regency, they are; Singosari temple, Jago temple, Kidal temple, etc. Beside that, Malang still has a lot of tourism objects that will attract you to visit it. Coban Rondo waterfall, Wonosari tea plantation, Wendit pool, mount Kawi, mount Bromo panorama, Coban Pelangi waterfall, Karangkates recreation park, and the others, are Malang’s interesting places that presents their nature scenery.

Many years ago before Malang became the second biggest city in East Java, Malang used to be the centre of government of the Kanjuruhan and Singosari Kingdom.

1. Kanjuruhan, written in the inscription 760 AD, now has changed into Kajuron (a place near Dinoyo).
2. Balandit, written in the inscription 929 AD, now has changed into Belandit (a place in the eastern part of Singosari ).

6. Katinden, written in the inscription on 1395 AD, now still uses that name up to the present time.

7. Mandaragiri, written in the Javanese History Book “Negarakertagama”, is the name of a hill that is now known as “Mandaraka”, belonging to Singosari Sub District. (+ 9 kms north of Malang).

Islam is built upon five major pillars. A Muslim is taught that anyone who dies observing these five basic pillars will enter heaven. As mentioned, they are:

1. To bear witness that there is no entity
worthy of worship except Allah(God) alone, and that Muhammad (pbuh) was His messenger. This establishes obedience to God Almighty alone.

3. To pay two and a half percent (2.5%) of ones wealth to charity every year if their savings exceed a certain minimum level which is considered above the poverty level. (This is the basic concept, the actual calculation is a little more complex).

4. To fast the month of Ramadhan (from the Islamic Lunar calendar) every year from sun rise until sunset. This involves not eating, drinking, or having marital relations, from sun rise until sun set.

5. To perform a pilgrimage to Makkah (in the Arabian Peninsula) once in a Muslim’s lifetime if it is financially possible and their health permits. During this period, Muslims come from all over the world to join together for six days in a prescribed set of acts of worship. All Muslim men are mandated to wear the same garment which was designed to be very plain, simple, and cheap to obtain.

Everyone that like internet usually also like to chatting with other people. Well,the aplication that usually use by people are Yahoo! messenger , MSN messenger , or Multi messenger like Gaim. How if the port of that messenger was blocked by our administrator? Very bad, we can chat anymore…^^ When we got a trouble, human natural instinct will try to get the solve for our problem.

The problem that port of Yahoo! messenger bloked was come to me in a 1 years ago. Me and my friends think and think how to get out from this problem. Some day my friend got a website that very interisting. The website give as an service that make us can chat with Yahoo! messenger, MSN messenger, and 2 more messenger. The website are www.meebo.com , meebo it self provide as an user to use all messenger without register an account on Yahoo or MSN. But i already have an Yahoo ID and MSN ID so i don’t need the service.^^ Not just a messenger that have an web interface, an IRC also have an web interface. It is very difficault to find diets that work. People fail at diets all the time wether it is because they can’t aviod temptation or it’s just too hard to eat right or excersize with your busy daily life. Well I found a few helpful tips that are simple to do each day that can get you on the right start and I wanted to share them.
1. First quit drink soda! This gets a huge amount of results in most people. It can cause sugar cravings and it has about 250 calories. That is a lot.

2. Make sure you eat breakfast. If you do not eat breakfast your body thinks you are starving and next time you eat it will store more.

3. Eat 5 smaller meals instread of 3 big meals. Eating smaller meals will keep you going longer. You will less lucky be hungry as often and also everytime you eat it gives you just a bit more energy.

4. Do not stop eating your favorite foods. This will make your temptation worse. Instead slim down what you eat. Instead of not eating your fav chocolate chip cookies have one every now and again instead of eating a whole box. Or see if the 100 calorie pack will settle your urges.

5. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park farther away from the building. These few simple things will help you burn a few more calories and keep your body motivated.

6. Avoid eating because you are bored or stressed. If you are bored try to find a little hobbie like building a puzzle doing crosswords. Something to keep your mind busy. If you are stressed find something else to calm you. Take a bath and listen to music. Go for a walk. Have a cup of tea.

7. Skip out on the fast food. There are thousands of calories in a meal at most fast food places. Try and go to the local deli instead and get a soup, salad, or healthy sandwich. Or pack a lunch. Take an extra 5 minutes in the morning to make yourself lunch.

These are just a few tips that you don’t have to change your life around completely for.
